Rules: Here's how we play.
Step 1: Put your iTunes or equivalent on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Bold out the songs when someone guesses the song title correctly.
Step 4: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

1. Late at night with our sharpest eyes on, we spot land on the horizon

2. Warm yourself by the fire, son, and the morning will come soon

3. I have a private hell of excellent quality

4. Build a bridge or maybe two, together held with footsteps she outgrew

5. Day after day as the earth turns grey and the sun becomes dark in the sky

6. In fields where nothing grew but weeds, I found a flower at my feet, bending there in my direction

7. How long, how long will I slide, separate my side

8. [First english lyrics] I dream of rain, ay-lay, ay-lay, I dream of gardens in the desert sand

9. The sun came up with no conclusions, flowers sleeping in their beds

10. It was a long and dark December, from the rooftops I remember there was snow, white snow

11. Maybe it's too late for an intellectual debate, but a residue(?) of confusion remains

12. Wiped out down the stairs, I'll bet you there's a song in there

13. The colorless words are burning our heels as the bright lights of the city fade

14. Oh, for the sake of momentum, I've allowed my fears to get larger than life

15. Oh, I wish you well, And I hope someday your life turns out just like you planned

16. Whistles the wind blowin' my way, sweepin' me back, back here to stay

17. I'm in chains, you're in chains, too. I wear uniforms, and you wear uniforms, too. I'm a prisoner, you're a prisoner, too, Mr. jailer

18. At the end of the day and into the night, that's when I get my peace and quiet

19. Immigrant, immigrant, immigrant punk... Immigrant, immigrant, immigrant punk... (Haha... bet'cha can't guess this 'un)

20. I saw you standing in the corner, on the edge of a burning light. I saw you standing in the corner, come to me again in the cold, cold night

21. It's a cold, dark night, Hollow's eve upon the crest, in a parking lot of vampires in suits to look their best

22. All aboard, hit the road, all the bullshit, can't be ignored. It's hard to place, in my face, no emotion...

23. Yeah, this one's for the workers who toil night and day, by hand and by brain, to earn your pay

24. Mercury fallin' I rise from my bed, collect my thoughts together, I have to hold my head

25. Hey now, all you sinners, put your lights on, put your lights on. Hey now, all you lovers, put your lights on, put your lights on. Hey now, all you killers, put your lights on, put your lights on. Hey now, all you children, leave your lights on, you better leave your lights on... (I made this one a bit long, but it's not complete any shorter, plus I like the song a lot.)

That's that. I'm not tagging anyone, but anyone feel free to do this.

Also, it may be apparent to you all that I haven't been doing much here recently. That is because I am busy and kind of uninterested. So if you'll all forgive me my absences... I'm still keeping up with all of you - just not doing anything.

Missing something?
Dear Shane,

I thank you for pointing out the fact that my character Nathan is smaller than most halflings. In response, I will incorporate that into my story arc, something along the lines of being the smallest halfling ever. Halflings are proud of their stature, right?

Can't I just try to create a bridge out of pure energy by willing it into existence?
Thanks for the fave. Visit "Jon" anytime. As he likes to say, you are his lifeline.
You're welcome. I'm on chapter eight, and I love the story so far.

(During a game of D&D, link55557 explains a play where the actors are having sex on stage)
~link55557: As the music reaches a climax-
~TastyRamenNoodles: So do the actors!
~link55557: *facepalm*
~TheDaimyo: You walked into that one.
I am so glad to hear that. For some added fun, visit the website at jonsmythe.com, and click on as many pictures, knobs and labels as possible. You never know where a hidden link might take you.
Thanks for the fave on "Six Gay Men..."!
